Saturday, May 26th, will be the date of the 2012 5k & Kids Fun Run at Hobble Creek Park (1250 South 2200 East, Springville, Utah).

The 5k Race begins at 7:30 am and the Fun Run begins at 8:45 am.

Send the completed entry form for each participant along with payment to:

Race day registration will be available: 6:15-7:00 am.

Race packets will be available for pick-up on May 2 & 27 from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm at 1778 Cranberry Way, Springville.

Entry Fees – 5k

$20 includes a technical running shirt
$10 entry fee without a shirt
$20 race day entry fee (shirt not guaranteed)

Kids Fun Run

$12 includes a 50/50 blend t-shirt
$5 entry fee without a t-shirt
$12 race day entry fee (shirt not guaranteed)

2012 shirts will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Register before May 1st to guarantee a shirt. Shirts will not be reprinted.

All proceeds benefit the Live wElle Foundation and the Live wElle Scholarship Fund administered by the Nebo Foundation.

The Live wElle Foundation is pleased to announce the 5th annual Live wElle 5K and Kid’s Fun Run – the date this year is Saturday, May 28.

As with prior years, the event will have a 5K, and three different  kid’s races – a short sprint across the grass for the kids 4 years old and under, an 800 yard run for ages 5-8, and a mile run for ages 9-12.  We will also have a prize drawing, music, food and drinks,  medals for winners in each division, and new shoes from Fleet Feet of  American Fork, one of our sponsors, for our overall winners in the men’s and women’s category.  In keeping with tradition, we’ll conclude with the balloon release.

Please visit the “Live wElle 5K” tab/drop down menu, then click on “5K 2011“  to see the times and also to register  (you can register online through active.com, or you can print a registration form to save a couple dollars!)

We want you to know we have a new  ”Live wElle” shirt this year – we’re using the wickify technical shirt used by the St. George Marathon and Ragnar.  Because the shirt is a ‘uni-sex’ shirt, the women’s shirts are a few inches longer than our shirts from prior years (the men’s shirts fit the same more or less). We hope you will be able to join us this year!  Please let us know if  you have any questions!

The date for the 4th annual Live wElle 5K and Kids Fun Run is fast approaching!  The date for this years event is May 29 with the events beginning at 7:30 that morning.  If you plan to join us that morning, but haven’t registered yet – this is your reminder!  Please visit “5k 2010“ to learn more about registering. We still have our “Live wElle” shirts available, but they are going fast, so please register asap to ensure you get a shirt!

18 Days to Race Day.

We hope you are getting as excited as we are to participate in this year’s Live wElle 5K. There are only 18 days left until race day. Parents, remember that there are other races (50 yard dash, 800 meter and 1 mile) based on age groups (2-4 yr & 5-8 yr) on the same day as the 5K so register and bring the entire family to the event. New maps have been posted online depicting the other races, as well as the Live wElle 5K,  if you have any questions regarding the routes.

The 2010 Registration Form is now live at action.com. Click on “5k 2010″ under “Live wElle 5k” and there is a link to the new form and race information for this year, or this link will take  you to the same place to register.
